Don't do anything to attract attention in the CUCV or the Deuce, but they do attract attention, especially when they see the daughter driving it. Only 'problem' with the police is a local marshall. The state, parish (county), and the locals all give me the high 5 and keep on going. All...
Going to a brake shop might help, they have a power bleeder that some of the 'parts swappers' don't have.
I agree with one of the lines ballooning/collapsing on the inside, it has happened to me. It was a bear to find, until I realized that they are hoses and they need to be replaced every once...
Don't think either are better than the other, just a pain when they are mixed...as in a CUCV...

Might want to paint the shocks 383 before install to help them match the truck colour...

Best thing to use would be a portable SAT unit or a HAM band set up. You also might consider getting a personal 406M EPIRB...
A DEDICATED 1/2" wrench and/or wire cutters hanging on the steering column or a place very available...to disconnect or cut the battery cable to prevent a wiring meltdown.

While your at it, you need to do a complete PMS on the beast...
The filter kit is in our classifieds.
The bracket is not available from GM anymore. Best thing to do is remove it and weld the tab back on. You also might want to add a light guage 'backer' when your welding it, make it stronger. I've had to do this before, not fun!
Good Luck!
