This is what I kinda have in mind and yes they are very pricey. Be nice to find some used ones or a wrecked emergency vehicle that has them: Feniex Phantom T4s are nearly the perfect size for the rears and I read somewhere on the innerweb they are 1200 lumens.

You could just unplug it and replug the the harness directly into the wiper motor plug. All the capacitors are filters for the military radio systems and serve no purpose in civilian use.

Are you hooking them up so its just 12v and not 24v going to them (ie only one battery)?
