I saw this done on BoatCarpenter's deuce. Just a reminder it actually isn't filtered air, the nipple and air intake are both on the outer side of the air filter. I plugged the nipple on my filter housing so I could cut off that air in the event of an engine runaway. Not sure what a run-away...

You can set the wire speed and voltage manually on the Millers, in fact autoset only works with two wire thicknesses depending on the machine. On my 211 autoset only works with .30 and .35 mig wire. For anything else: .23 Mig, flux core, alluminum, etc the only option is to use the wire speed...

Yeah, I keep mine topped off too. I'll only put in about 15 gallons at time. I also mix in my waste oils between trips to the pump. Next time at the dead stop, with the clutch, try walking the shifter into third before moving to first. That seems to make it easier to find first gear for me.

Z, crawl under the truck and check your drive shaft bolts for tightness, in particular look at the ones between the transmission and transfer case. I'm wondering if these are loose, which is a common problem found when these trucks are adopted by new owners.
