Ohh, I like that idea. It's attached to the frame rail with tube welded to the base of the reel. 3/8" grade 8 bolts hold it all together. I can hang on the reel, so it should hold up fine to road vibes. Originally, I wanted to weld up a box to the reel, but I didn't have the extra steel...

I have wanted to do this for some time. I had some extra hose laying around and I got a free 100 Ft hose reel a few weeks ago. So here it is. I just need to add a tennis ball to the end of the hose.

Good question... I put an A/C evaporator in mine...Still need to make the hoses to use it... Cranetruck, at some point, would you be willing to move your oil filter below the oil cooler to see if your higher "time until pressure" numbers go down relative to the position of the oil filter?

As Cranetruck was saying...A Double Cardan joint assembly IS a Constant Velocity joint. It's the original CV joint before the Rzeppa (i.e. FWD Joint) and similar designed joints.

Cool gauge. You have a very full engine bay! Are you going to measure the average pressure difference with the stock filters too? It will help give a better perspective on the project.

Interesting. I just figured that the modifications to make an A2 into an A3 were done at an Army rebuild depot.

Both systems came on the M35A3. It's my understanding that A3's are rebuilds of A2's, not a factory produced product.
