Interesting new features guys. I'll have to move my build/recovery data here as a one stop shop for tracking my project.
I can't wait to read the ones from everyone else.
I am a bit astonished about the colors... you happened to pick the EXACT set of greys and spruce green I'm using on my truck.
It looks great and thanks for all the effort!
My only beef is the "Activity Stream" shows each new post, instead of active threads.
The difference is, my attempt to find new stuff only finds pages and pages of posts in threads I couldn't care less about.
Any chance of a tweek?
Edit: I just figured it out. The "Post" selection limits to...
You came from cars.
This isn't for increasing "boost"... the turbo's primary function is providing more air to cool the cylinder... It's a diesel thing. (Edit: Cooling is not the right term... adding air does help in power production, but on these engines it was primarily to reduce smoke)...
You have a blow out option. Drain the tank and jump the switch to manually push the truck air through it. Or, you could put some RV antifreeze in the tank and hit the button with the nozzle unhooked.
I think triggering by egt is going to solve the water usage issues.
Edit: I just got what you...
Seeing as how Google maps killed our locator function, and because I have recently run into some darn nice MV guys here in the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek area, I thought it might be nice to get to know anyone else in the region.
I'm in Kalamazoo/Portage 90% of the time with my M35A2 and heavy tools...

Keep in mind that alternative fuels and cranking the smoke screw will vary the needs for your truck. Also, the flow will be determined by the system pressure.
We have also determined that EGT is the best way to trigger the system. Boost triggering...
Ahhh... found it.

These are the closest I have found...

Those look like the wheels Dave used to make his conversions... I think we had been calling them "5 ton combat" but someone else said they were FMTV.
I'll hunt for the thread.
Got the Solargizer... still waiting for time and money to pick up my 1100s and new transmission.
Also picked up a gallon of the light grey paint for my camo job. Looks like it will have to wait until spring to get her blasted and painted.
My life is a circle of work and school for the...
2 chin scoops= -5... I should have remembered that.
I only remember seeing one of those in the time I was volunteering at the Air Zoo. It was a -5 that was painted a lighter blue. Almost cobalt. It would have been in the mid 90's at one of the last big Kalamazoo air shows.
As I recall we had...
Any tire that won't hold air is about to blow.
Any new slight pull in the front end is a tire going flat and getting ready to blow.
Blowing a steer tire on the highway isn't fun.
Start doing upper body weight lifting to control that wheel when it gets a mind of it's own.
Buy and keep a...
