Inquiry into a Southwest Virginia ride.

I am in Princeton, and I have a winch deuce, but neither me or the truck are off-roaders. (I know, turn in my man card!) Still, this is interesting, maybe I can join in somehow and participate. Subscribed!

Help...on road now and truck wont start

I had the same symptom on mine and found it was the IP failing. It would start fine, but once I turned it off and tried to start it within one hour it would not start. A temp fix for this, if yours is having the same problem, is to pour cool water on the IP, it should start. If that is the...

Has anyone converted CTIS to work manually?

I thought about using the existing M35A3 plumbing and just building a set of solenoids and gauges, but kept running into issues. For example, the system normally has no pressure until you activate it, then it pressurizes each axle enough to open the wheel valves. It then automatically decides...

M35A3 reverse / backup lights .........switch, sequence???

For what it is worth, I did the best I could to get them to work, had no luck till I replaced the light fixtures. Both were bad and would not work. Put two new ones on, added bulbs and away it went!

Low air buzzer going off when turning the wheel

Coalman, I first had this problem on my A3 to the point I could not drive it anymore- it started gradually at first, and I did all the air assist maintenance stuff, but it still get worse. Finally I was tracing the air lines, found the priority valve (didn't know what it was at the time...

Trying to get CTIS to power up.

The tires holding air don't indicate a working manifold. You can remove the manifold from the vehicle and the tires should stay up. When the manifold activates it sends a puff of pressure to each axle to find out what pressure is in the axle, other than that the manifold and piping is at room...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

A stuck caliper should have the same resistance forward or back. I bet your parking brake cable is stiff from winter salt.

Trying to get CTIS to power up.

I posted this photo earlier. My CTIS had a burned resistor, as shown on the right side of the photo. It could be anything causing it not to power up.

    Manifold heater

A few years ago I capped off my lines, removed everything except the spark plug, added a Kitts ether kit and never looked back. Ether seems to work better IMO.
