It’s an NA 6.2. That’s why it’s so difficult since it really never existed. I “think” the NA version will work fine.

I spent the weekend digging through the TM’s trying to find a part number for the transmission dipstick part number on a 4l80. I have come up with zero information.

Make sure the linkage is properly adjusted and that it’s not stuck between gears.

But your old switch back on and see if that fixes the problem. If so you have a bad switch.
There are quite a few threads around about how poor the quality is on those switches.

Don’t know about the width vs tank tracks but it sounds plausible.
The brush guard is to protect the cab and windshield against brush it wasn’t meant to be a bumper.
It would weigh as much as a tank if it were steel. That was to help with weight savings.

I would get a transmission shop to verify that the converter is your problem before i started swapping parts. You may not need either.
If it is your converter you will need To have the transmission gone through as well as a new converter. When they die they put metal through the whole system.
I am guessing that what you experienced was torque converter shutter. I would take it to a transmission shop and let them have a look.
