No harm, no foul. That's a valid way to check it. Often times people will pull the plug and have someone bump the engine. Using a small wooden dowel or something to confirm the plunger moves up and down on it's own.
Moved to CUCV forum.
You've burnt up the fuseable links. Many upgrade the starter relay under the dash. Please search "doghead relay". Your truck will continue to try to start until the relay is corrected.
80 on the speedo is one thing. Traveling 80mph on the road is different. (You're going to be turning 4100+ rpm to do that with a 31" tire and 4.56 gear) The 6.2 is a oversquare engine design, so that lends to a higher top RPM. But the original design of the 6.2 was for economy in the...
I'll give a little more info. If it's still 4.56 geared and on 31" tires. 70mph is about 3600rpm. Which is the governed RPM of the civy 6.2. The military IP isn't the same as a civy and has a higher high idle speed. But the internals of the 6.2 are still the same.
You'll need to report the post and state what you'd like it to read. Depending on the forum and times, you're able to edit posts. But when a user edits the title, it only updates in the thread. Only the staff can change the actual display title.
Turbo would certainly help, but if it's a 1008/1010/1028/1031 you're going to be dealing with 4.56 gears. I'm guessing it's one of the pickup variants correct?
I've looked around, but all I've found is people using the military Red Dot AC systems.
Anyhow, I wondered, has anyone used one of the civilian "under dash" AC systems in a HMMWV? I understand that you wouldn't be able to put it under the "dash" of a HMMWV. But perhaps it could be relocated...
I was talking about the welder only. Lincoln welders were gray. Close to navy gray. The problem with the 101 as the trailer is the fact the welder weighs about 1350-1400lbs dry. Add in fuel, oil, and coolant and you're talking 1500lbs. Add in a set of cutting torch bottles, tools, and all...
Sounds like your phone might have some issues. Picture quality will be diminished no matter what on the site. Even if you loaded a 9.6mb picture, it'll be resized to probably 1mb or so.
Tapatalk is the easiest means of upload. There's so many flavors of phones/mobile browsers, that supporting them all would be difficult. 9.6mb images are huge. I'm not sure how you'd resize them from your phone.
Might download powertools image resizer. It's a great simple add on for windows. Then all you have to do is select the photo(s) in question and right click on them, then select resize, all automatic.
