Fuel filters or lack thereof and stalling.

If your pressure relief valve is stuck open (not partially open or sort of stuck open but stuck open) then you cannot build up any pressure. It would be physically impossible to do so. Your literally just opening a return valve to the fuel tank. This would be the last item I would check though...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Tell me CUCVRUS your haven't sent any TH400 HD transmission cases to the scrapper ? I'll cry if you have ! Those cases are becoming harder then "hens teeth" to find !

Fuel filters or lack thereof and stalling.

What you need to do now is figure out where is the last place you have good fuel flow. So start at the fuel tank and go up the fuel line. Check the fuel/water filter. Run the intank pump and see what comes out. Then go to the booster pump on the injection pump. Remove the fuel line and run the...

    M1028 Dana 70hd pinion yoke

I'm with "Chaski" on replacing the yoke with one that uses "U-bolts" . That is what I did with mine. You can get the yoke online as long as you know the diameter and spline count of the pinion shaft. I bought mine from a racing supply store. Hardened U-bolt style yoke. Buy a new nut and washer...

    M1028 Front Brake troubles

You said you replaced the rubber flex hoses to both calipers ? The inner lining can come loose and act as a "one-way" check valve on old hoses.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I always carry the military reduction lug wrench with me at all times. That and a long bar like you have pictured. Plus now I also carry my 1" air impact wrench.

    Special M35 steering gear project

At this time I will not be adding my hard-earned knowledge of this steering gear to this site. I cannot make any money from the sell of the system, by either making them and selling them. Or selling the idea itself. Part of my retirement settlement. So when I do make it public it will only...

Fuel filters or lack thereof and stalling.

Crappy fuel has been proven to be the major cause of the "button" coming loose. When you get gummy crappy fuel in the injection pump it causes the "button" to stick to the injection pump piston, and the "plunger" to stick in it's bore. Usually at the top of it's stroke. If the button is not...

    M108 deuce wrecker engine swap

What are those front tires ? Are those the "Stryker" tires ? I see they fit the stock Deuce rims perfectly. Look real good too !

Brake system Work, what to look for?

The early Deuce section is for the M135 and M211 Deuce. The early M35 deuces are almost identical to the more "modern" M35's with the Multifuel engines. In fact there are a ton of early M35's that where converted from the gas engine to the Multifuel diesel. You can recognize them by the gauge...

    Greaseable polyurethane sway bar bushings

I've asked about this "Ignore" option before. Where is it ? Is it is settings somewhere ? Also, what does it do exactly ?

    Special M35 steering gear project

You got that right ! I went to my brothers grandson's wedding this last Friday. I'm still feeling sore from the drive down to Vancouver Wa. That was in my new truck too ! Can't imagine how it will be driving my Deuce up to Alaska ! Might have to take it in several stages.

    Sound Insulation

Here's how mine turned out using the "DynaMat" liner. The DynaMat I installed under the hood is still working great too ! Nothing falling off. One thing I ended up doing was plugging "every" single hole on the firewall no matter how small. If it was just a 1/4" hole I put a bolt and nut in it...

You will need to rebuild your brake booster.
