Dexter and Redline still offer brand new brake rebuild kits. It’s a Dexter axle. No need for a truck brake parts kit since exact replacement kits are available. Any decent trailer parts store should have the parts.

Original cap was smashed when I picked it up at Red River Army Depot. Still did not leak. The hose vent ones usually break off, allowing water inside.

Zed254 is correct. The surplus hat caps were cheap and plentiful on eBay two plus years ago I’ve been using them on both my trailers with zero issues. No moisture, No corrosion and brakes work perfect. Plus it looks better than a hose hanging down in my opinion.

Without bushings? Then it’s not the same shock. Post the link. If anyone wants the exact, correct shock to install, the Croft price is the lowest price. Several different shocks look like they might fit, but the surge assembly accepts only one. This has been discussed in depth before.

Yea, that was 2014. Now their expensive. Croft was the least expensive of all other sellers when I researched prices about a year ago.
