Lug nut size on M105A2 trailer? Anyone know off the top of their head?

Proof? I wouldn’t be bragging. You were lucky to get home in one piece since that trailer can wag that little truck around without any trouble. I know the truck can pull it just fine. Handling and stopping it is a totally different issue. You can watch and be careful about distances all you...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Don't fill them full of grease and then crank the steering to the stops. Left or right or both. Pops them every time.

    Valence's 1968 M101A1

Truck-Lite 3/4” LED Marker lights. Smallest DOT approved light available. Much brighter in person and especially at night. Not military, but a whole lot easier install than the Military marker lights.

    M1101, M1102, LTT-TQG Trailer Jack

The NSN search brings up Butler products as the manufacturer. This is the M1101/2 civilian equivalent, made by exact same manufacturer. No it doesn’t have the wheel, but I can live with that. You can always install one. They are made in the USA and are excellent jacks. Mine are 5k rated. Have...

M939 Potential Junkyard Rescue Need Advice

I misread your post earlier. I thought you already had a 5 ton and were looking for a parts truck. I agree with ODFever. Would not get a 5 ton from a junkyard, with the intention of making it a driver, unless you had seriously deep pockets. 5 tons are fairly expensive to own and operate...

    Valence's 1968 M101A1

What about installing clearance and marker lights and reflective tape? Would help visibility a lot and look so much better than lights installed upside down. I completely understand “why” you did that, just looks weird IMHO. Unless your really close to trailer, the stock location and mounting...

    M101A3 Wheel (brake) cylinders

The TM is in the Trailer TM/Manuals section. Dexter or Redneck have the wheel cylinders. About $24 each side. Its been a while since I initially replaced mine and don’t remember the part number. A forum search should turn it up. It’s a common commercial part and not military specific.

CDR valve replacement - bracket modification.

I buy replacement parts, needed or not, weekly. For not only the M1008A1, but all my vehicles. Starter, alternator, fuel pump, CDR valves, filters, etc and lots of smaller, yet equally important parts. A sizable investment that has already been beneficial. Drives my wife crazy until I walk...

    Valence's 1968 M101A1

I used a can of expanding spray foam to fill the void. Trimmed flush with housing after drying and then a black silicone coating on foam surface to keep out moisture. Worked perfect and looks Factory. Your LEDs are sealed from behind so no issues. No more wasps. Yellow Jackets aren’t even...

Those LED light bars shouldn’t pull anywhere close to 70 amps.
