Took off the nylon rope and installed some 5/16” rubber rope.
Now it’s a breeze to get inside, etc.
This rope is rated for outside use and resistant to sun, weather, etc.
Those are blackout curtains.

Most likely to prevent sun/moon reflections than keep light in.
We have them for the helos.
Keeps any light from getting up front to distract pilots.

Even if it’s lifetime warranty, doesn’t really help if you have to change it 3 times in one year.
You get what you pay for.
It’s not a hard job to replace one, just time consuming.

Buy the best parts you can afford.

Hey Mister Tinstar - Do you think any of those other manufacturers would consider sewing hidden pockets on the inside to hold heating elements? I don't mind paying for a custom quality product. Last time I checked, there was plenty of my daughter's inheritance left.

If you press full pedal while waiting for glow plugs to cycle it will set the the fast idle solenoid.
Keeping them stock, healthy and maintained makes all the difference.
I have yet to use my block heater.

The old jacket comment wasn’t derogatory. Just my observation and opinion.
I’m sure you know that there are other seat accessory manufacturers out there that already make a cover that actually fits and are not just pockets hanging on a seat.
