This is the reason I support this forum. Awesome info, have been planning to do this. How did you determine the sizes for those who don't have a similar year?

Show me your auxiliary fuse panel

I think it's a great idea. So far I've been using them as spares (or to replace ones Snuffy removed- like abs.

Finished drilling most of the holes (middle 5 out of 20 on each side I don't have the clearance for due to huck bolts) and took it on it's first drive with the box mounted. Didn't notice much drivibg difference except I no longer have the harmonic bouncing going down the road. Hopefully that...

Working on drilling all the mounting holes for the box. Tough work drilling though 1/2" thick steel with 1/2" diameter bit. Clearances are really small too makes things more difficult. Did "make" a device to help with some holes...a bucket with cribbing provides force to the drill and I just...

    Cold starting A1R

I can see it pulling a lot of current when it turns on so pretty sure it's functioning as intended.

    Cold starting A1R

My worry is the ECM programming is expecting ether or grid heater and I would imagine the engine start parameters are fairly different. Manual control is a fairly easy part of it.

    Cold starting A1R

First winter with an A1R and also a diesel. Started it today in 10f and it was not very happy. Had to crank several times(was letting off same as I would in warm temps- when I hear it ignite). Then held starter for a few seconds after catching to keep it running since previous method didn't...

Successful thanksgiving, box is on the frame. Height is 12'7" at rear, 12'8" at front of box (driveway is not perfectly level) 7" to bump stop, 8.5" from tire to box. It was surprising how little the suspension moved when I put the weight on it. Cribbing and jacking was nerve racking as it was a...

    LMTV Abs troubleshooting

Got a new LBCD because mine was crusty. New batteries as well. Showing .7 V drop across LBCD and voltage over 10v cranking. ABS still not functioning. All wheel sensors are reading properly, all modulator valves have good resistance to abs ECU. Not getting any error codes at all. ABS light is on...

Installed new hoses that move the cooler forward about 1.5 ft so the alignment rod won't hit it on full suspension compression.
