    MEP-003A hook up question

If all you need is an applied voltage to transfer, pretty easy. Other than that youd need a sense line to detect loss (and return) of utility Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

MOST transfer switches dont switch the neutral, BUT there are some out there that do so it is very important to find out and setup your system accordingly.

Setting up an MEP-003A as a permanent stand-by Generator

Definitely need a neutral. Also be sure neutrals and grounds are separate. Make sure the neutral buss is not bonded to ground. Otherwise looking good. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

Setting up an MEP-003A as a permanent stand-by Generator

And if that is the first means of disconnect you might not need a neutral. Big question to know for sure on that is whats feeding this panel? Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

Setting up an MEP-003A as a permanent stand-by Generator

Not bad, The only comment I would make is there is no flex installed in the conduit. might have vibration problems.

    Long term storage question?

Yea.... Tis an unfortunate thing. The people I help get one setup usually get an annoying text from me once every few months to go give their gen set some attention (this is more so they wont bug me at 3 am when the power goes out).

What is a good mobile set up for using my MEP 803A

Please be careful with cams. Had one of our electricians killed when he goofed. Long story but they had this really bad practice of tape marking cams. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
