What is this lever underneath the dash?

Looks like that's for the windshield washer (manual pump).

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

That's the crank handle for the tailgate window.

What is this behind the seat of this m1008?

My USMC m1008 had the tool rack behind the seat, I know another SS member's USMC truck has it there too.

It looks like the weather will be nice, here's a pic of the field from today.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Lately I've dyed the dash pad in the pickup, changed out the seat bottom cover for a new one, and I installed new shocks and changed the fuel filter. I also made up a set of mirrors that can be adjusted out for towing, since I occasionally tow wide trailers.

    Rear lug nut removal question.

Not sure why the PS magazine article states that but that's not how it works in my experience. The same thing has been mentioned in other geared lug wrench threads.

Need assistance identifying a truck and it value

Looks like an m54a1c. Going by the overhaul tag it is possibly a Vietnam War bring back.

    M37 and M35 parts interchnage

That's a regular m37 door; I don't know of any other series of truck that has interchangeable doors with the m37.

    M37 and M35 parts interchnage

Any pics of the m35 doors on your m43? They are completely different. Some parts that do interchange are the individual windshields, lug nuts, lights, light switch, gauges, I think the shift knob, and slave cable outlet.

Yeah it's a solargizer that pulses the batteries.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Changed out the windshield on my m1028 today with one from a parts truck I bought last year. The old one had a scratch from the wiper arm on it, the "new" one is mint and tinted at the top. I'll have to get the right tools for the next time, it was a bit tedious doing this one with a...

931A2 not starting after filter change

The bleeder screw on an a2 motor will be on the passenger side of the pump, it's a lot smaller than 11/16.

    Evil Dr. Porkchop's M-Gator Restoration

Last week I wired in new relay blocks for the dump bed so that is working now. It's actually pretty useful around the yard: I also put the blackout lights back on the front, I've still got to straighten out the brackets for the back lights at some point. It beats moving tow bars by hand!

    Show us your Military Trailers

I recently picked up this neat 1951 pole trailer. It looks to be fairly complete and it's in decent shape. I don't have a use for it but the price was right.

getting ready to buy trailer for my M1009

Yes, if they're both stock it will plug right in. If the trailer has 24 volt bulbs (which is very likely) you'll want to change them to 12v for safety. With the stock 37" tires the trailer will be nose down (unless your blazer is on bigger tires), but you can change it over to smaller tires to...
