    m35a2 Ram Air Snorkel

The snorkel clamps on just like the original mushroom, it makes changing the air filter take an extra 5 minutes.

    Show us your Military Trailers

Here's my 1952 Strick m100 painted 24087. I tried to make the tailgate look somewhat like the original panel.

Has anybody seen this truck ?

I was there last week but didn't preview the trucks. The lot is not on a base, so I believe that everything is brought in on a trailer. Everything that came into the yard while we were there was trucked in. Good Luck :)

    New Starter Confusion

You will need the different support bracket for the front of the starter, other than that it should be the same.

    Lug Nut Color on M37GT

I vote yellow. In my opinion the truck is pretty tame compared to the artwork on the gunbox. If you don't like it, its only paint.

    m100 and m416 recovery

I think it was tanks of some sort, I found some "4500 psi" stickers in the tub. Whatever it held, it must have been heavy as the springs are completley demolished. And from the looks the tub, it was rarely used, because the metal isn't even pitted. Today all I did was put a couple of civi...

    m100 and m416 recovery

I think I'll keep the m100 and eventually paint it OD, and I'm probably going to put a nice red paint job on the m416 and see how much I can get for it after I install new springs.

    m100 and m416 recovery

Today we removed the ball hitch adapter from the m416 and the lunette looks good. We also removed the wood top, the tub, the springs and the axle. We dismounted the tires from both trailers and got the NDT's mounted on the m100 wheels.

    m100 and m416 recovery

The 416 towed great the whole trip. The ndt's are in good shape, and the lights even worked! The topper is wood... I plan on removing it. The tub is in super nice shape, nicer than any other i've seen (except for the tailgate:x) The bad thing about it is the springs are trashed and will need to...

    m100 and m416 recovery

Fun fact: An m100 will fit in a full size chevy van (barely). The m100 is real nice, no rot at all, the tailgate was well done, except its made of wood. The landing leg works, the lunette spins, and the trailer is pretty straight. The CUCV sized tires had to be removed for the trip, but it...

    m100 and m416 recovery

Made it back home with both the trailers, they are in better shape than I thought they would be (for the most part). Here's one pic for now, more in a bit.
