Check for rust everywhere, battery trays, floors, around the edges of the tub, rockers, innerfenders, middle of the tailgate, etc. (they rust a lot!)
Check for any wiring that has been hacked together.
Make sure it has a title if your state requires one! (not an sf97).

I found out on friday that the chinese starter died, and took the starter relay and some wiring with it.:mad: Changed it out for an american gear reduction starter that evening in time for the parades that weekend.

They are used to connect a scrambler to the rt-524 and the r-442 for secure voice communications. I have no use for them, but they're kinda cool to have.
I don't think m416a1's existed yet at that time frame. The markings were probably part of the restoration, and the amber reflectors should be red as well on the sides.
I found a mirror glass at the local auto parts store for mine, attached it with silicone. I used rearview mirror cement on the rearview to attach that.
Here's a pic, there is a vertical plate between the towbar legs that is connected to the curved pieces you can see. You have to put the legs on after the bar is though.
