Juan, thanks for posting that. Unfortunately when I try opening it all I get is 2 pages of what looks like TV static. Not sure if it's just my computer or not. I can see it fine in your post just not get anything when I open it.
Finally felt decent enough to go outside. We need to swap one of the tires that came on the truck just to drive it from Houston to San Antonio so I started prepping one of the used units I got at Premier Metals. I picked one of the wheels that had the CTIS protectors on it as I'll probably...
I bought one last week on a popular online auction site. Unfortunately it was more than twice what the other poster paid. Of course that was 2 years ago and more trucks out now mean more people looking for these mean higher prices.
I didn't get a NSN# but there were a couple of part numbers on one of the idler packages posted.
#1 Part Number 12505708
#2 Red Dot Part Number RD-3-1240
Hope that helps in case Scott runs out of idlers.
Check a popular online auction site. There are a couple of kits that have those items but you'll be paying for a compressor and some hoses as well. I tried contacting him to see if he had any loose idlers but he didn't. So now I'm trying to get a part number or NSN from him. I'll post those...
We can do a little more than that but there are limitations. I can't "legally" go to Home Depot and get a load of lumber but I can still drive it around wherever I want even if it's a 1 person "exhibition" or I may need to exercise the batteries and suspension. Maintenance is allowable and...
Yep I actually bought what was supposed to be a 1078 cover out of FL that turned out to be a 1083 cover. Luckily the seller discovered his mistake before shipping and was upfront about it and refunded my money including PayPal fees.
I found this simply by using the search function at the top right of the page:

You will find the BUMPER NUMBER specs in this TM:
43-0209.pdf
To find it, click on this link (Or visit the RESOURCES TAB at the top of each SS WebPage)...
Glad I could help. Hopefully there wasn't any damage from the overheat issue. As heavy as it is and the limited time it was overheating I can't imagine that there would be but you never know.
That's what I did. Much cheaper and no need for inspection or getting it weighed to be charged extra road fees. Plus the only thing I'll be doing is shows and parades plus driving just to feel good.
Well I registered the LMTV today. Does that count on working on it? Monday I'll probably get around to renting a forklift to try and unload the tires. I've been fighting a nasty cold since Wed and just haven't felt like messing with things.
