While it's easy enough using the "search" function to find pertinent information, it might not be a bad idea to get a sticky going with typical PMCS items such as belt numbers, the 0-ring information for the hydraulic pump, headlight size/style (since so many folks think they're 24v), wipers...
Thanks! I was going to do the greasing this weekend but guess that saves a little time. I don't suppose you could change the tire if I mail it to you? KIDDING! I need the experience.
Already have one packed for the trip. I did wonder what size lug nuts are on the truck though so I have the appropriate socket for the RoboTool and how much material do you need for a base for the bottle jack? Also packed is a battery powered flashing yellow beacon for the back of the truck...
That's like asking how long is a piece of string. It depends on a lot of other factors to determine an answer.
Oh, and the piece of string is 6" in case anyone was wondering.
"Underpowered" compared to the C7, or at least the reports I've read. I was perfectly happy with upper 50s in my 923A2 so I'm sure I'll be happy with the LMTV. I do have a little concern about speed drop if I get a M1082 to pull. I'd really like to build a pop-up style camper in one and head...
I'm starting the AC install as soon as I get the truck home. I'm still debating the gear change. I think it's a no brainer for the A1s but wonder if it's that beneficial with the underpowered 3116.
My problem is going to be having NDT 4 hours away after I get the truck home and having to figure it out myself. Fortunarely Keith_J is close and he's a wiz at electrical too. Me, I'm a "give me the new part and I'll put it on" kind of guy without the sleuthing ability.
Hopefully not the "cheap troop seats" you were telling me about.
Not that I have either the truck in hand nor a trailer but looking at photos it looks like the same bed. If that's the case then I'd say the troop seats should work. If you need some to modify I have ones that'll be coming out...
Definitely a different style of brackets and one that looks a lot easier to replicate than the ones in my photo (difference between an A0 and A1 maybe?). Guess I'll just see how it looks when I can finally touch my truck (now that it's running - YAY!) and compare it to the new condenser.
Oh I already want one of my own just figured it'd be cheaper to have all the fun with someone else's. I'm holding out for a 3 color camo unit to match the truck before I buy. The prices are already cheaper than the last few 1101/1102s that have gone through.
