Kambaku, if you decide to move your condenser could you take photos and detailed measurements of the brackets? I've been looking for a set for a while and looks like I'll need to make my own.
Wow! Sorry to hear about that. I will keep that in the back of my mind though. I have a great aversion to pain and just the thought having to have it dug out is lesson enough.
Keith,
Thanks for the write up. Unfortunately I can't get any of the attachments to open. Hopefully it's just my system.
Edit: ok got them now
On a side note, there used to be a great butcher shop in Wauchula back in the '70s. They had this steak seasoning called "Monkey Dust" that was...
Wow! Check sheet and everything. So where am I taking you to lunch? Papadeux's or Ruth's Chris Steak House?
Still working on the regulator but may be found.
If yours is the original alternator it's a 1st generation. My M1078 is a 1998 and it is 1st gen. If that's the case my regulator won't work on yours either. Pull the plug going into the regulator and see how many prongs it takes. Looks like the older style is a 5 prong connection and the...
Well I couldn't shoot above a 500 on the Slick 60, about 700 with the A3 and shot 1000 the 1st time out with the M1. I'll take the computer :)
Of course without it I just had to shoot twice as many rounds.
Turns out the regulator I bought for mine is for a 2nd gen alt and I have the original alt so if yours is a newer one I might be able to help you out. Now I have to source an old style.
People who buy through GP or GL or GSA are taking big risks with their money. At least in the old days you could generally schedule an appointment to look at a vehicle if it was local and make a little better decision on whether it was worth buying or not. Now it is literally a crap shoot. I...
For those of you looking for transmission issues here's the Allison Troubleshooting Manual. It's 406 pages in PDF format.

But shouldn't you have found that the 1st day :)
Seriously, thanks for everything you've been doing. I'd probably still be kicking the tires in the driveway trying to figure out why it wouldn't start after I charged the batteries. (okay maybe I'm not that stupid but still doubt I would have...
LMTV772 got it handled so I can read it fine. Not sure what the problem is since I'm using my desk top computer at the moment and haven't had any PDF issues in the past. Maybe it caught the virus I've been fighting the last week.
