I think I answered my own question, oil from the cooler is probably draining back to the filter as well.
However, there appears to be an oil drain plug under the filters, now I'm wondering if the oil inside the filters and cooler can be drained from that.
Hmmm..... pardon my ignorance here, but doesn't the anti-drainback valve only prevent back flow to the oil pump? So would puncturing the top of the filter release a suction that would allow the oil to drain forward to the oil cooler?
I don't really know if there is a suction holding the oil...
Thanks guys. The paint is Gillespie 24087 reduced with Xylene and mixed with Valspar Restoration Series Tractor & Implement Hardener from Tractor Supply.
Well, strictly speaking flash points, Bio Diesel makers have been using electric hot water heaters to convert Veggy Oil into bio diesel for years. The flash point for motor oil is significantly higher then bio diesel or Veggy oil, so I would think it could work.
However, bear in mind...
I'm guessing they mean Multi Purpose Tire, see the PDF:

I'm using the 3M Paint and Pesticide mask you get at Wally World or Home Depot for $25-30. I wanted something I can find the cartridges for easily. Seems to work pretty good, Gillespie paint and Xylene (synthetic thinner) give off a distinct odor that you can't smell when using the mask.
Well, my compressor is overkill for painting. I went for the Sears Craftsman 80gal@175psi 2 stage 5.4HP because I wanted something that could do sandblasting work but keep the price under a grand. Got it for $995 on sale with 0% financing on the Sears Credit card. Heavy sucker @450lbs and a...
I like the small gun a lot. I was priming deuce rims with it last weekend, I could get about one good coat across the "pink" areas you see in the picture before it went empty. I think it would be good for camo patterns.
Edit: The big gun is good for about one side of the M109 Box.
Not a professional painter but these seem to work really well for me on my deuce, and they're cheap.
Heavy Duty Air Paint Spray Gun
Adjustable Detail Spray Gun
I use the smaller gun for parts and tight places. Gone through maybe 5 combined gallons of primer, thinner, hardener, and 24087 so far.
That little M203 Chainsaw is cute and all, but when you're ready to get serious you need one of these....
PS. Stihl or Husqvarna, I don't think you could go wrong with either. (Coming from a Stihl owner) You'd also might be surprised what you can cut with just a 16" bar and chain.
I have noticed an evolution in parts, so to speak, working on my 66, which was refurbed in 85 and is a mix of old and new parts. Some observations:
Replacement Battery Box is plastic instead of metal (no rust)
Late production starter is different then my 71 rebuild, maybe reliability...
Thanks Pjvargas, yeah, look at #5. If he had to turn it down to 100PSI to keep it from unloading then it sounds like the governor was starting to go and then went.
Had a similar problem, try replacing the governor. Its about 12 bucks at NAPA #H284358
Note, the NAPA air governor may not be same model that you have, as there are several different types, but you should be able to plumb it in and make it work.
P.S. Berks County eh? My In-Laws and a...
Ok guys....I've confused myself....I went and diligently cleaned up the pump parts I found at the bottom of tank....went to put it back together....scratched my head.....looked at your pics again....
I've got a differently designed pump, and the parts to an old broken one, don't I? :cookoo:
Anybody know what model trailer these beds belong to? Looks like a M101 variant, for generators maybe? Note the tracks on the bed floor, and the extra reinforcement in the front is throwing my identification off.
Edit: Looks like there's a step/standing spot behind the wheel well too.
