Well, I got my Deuce stuck today. :(
Inertia won this round. Just a LITTLE too much speed. sigh
Anyone close to Stanardsville, VA (Greene County) who might be able to help me get it back up on the road? Sunday would be great, but since the truck is not on the roadway (it wouldn't be stuck if...
FWIW, I'm having the same problem. Gonna take it to an alignment shop and have THEM check the alignment. When I measured it it appeared to be dead on. But I have a hard time believing that the fronts would wear THAT fast!! I've put only around 500 miles on mine!!!
I'm trying to find replacement brushes, or a rebuild kit, for the Prestolite alternator in the deuce. Amazing how hard that is to locate on the web!!
Any suggestions??
:-D
 What a silly boy I am!!
Anyone have any links for parts and/or 'structions for replacing brushes? I think I was just reading a post from last year that had some tips on testing them. But you guys probably have that information at the tips of your fingers!
Thanks for educating me...
duh. I knew that!
I'll go double-check.

I've looked all over the truck and can NOT locate the voltage regulator!! I can't find anything that looks even remotely similar to the diagrams in the TM, let alone in the right location.
My problem is the charging rate (generator gauge) has been...

So... anybody wanna buy a...
They're really nice replacements. Just take the old arms off, and replace them with the new kits. And they take paint just fine if you don't like silver!
Yup, I'll be taking the camera along. I hope I don't need to take any "action" shots (changing tires, replacing blown turbos, etc.)!!
I'll running a temporary line from one of the batteries to power a 12vdc/120vac inverter to charge phone, camera and laptop.
Been looking forward to this...
I bought some replacement windshield arm assemblies from SOMEONE last year, and for the life of me I can't remember who it was!! These are replacement arms that accept standard, after-market wiper blades.
Anyone know who sells those??
Tanks!!
Hey boys and girls!!
I'm finally heading out to re-recover my M35 from Las Cruces, NM. (Thanks SO much to FMJ for baby-sitting it for me!!!). I'll be heading down to El Paso, then east along I-20 through DFW and on up to Birmingham, then picking up I-59 and then I-81 for the remainder of the...
