Gee! I've been looking around for some parts for my M109 for a while. Now they're coming out of the woodwork!! If any of you have some spare parts (window hardware, light lenses, stuff like that), drop me a note.
I guess you're headed back to OH with it? I'll actually be in eastern NC this weekend, and Monday. But I have to be back at work on Tuesday. Can't do it early, eh?
Any salvage yards in Westtern NC or Southwestern VA? I'm going to be down there this weekend. Don't have time to run over to Winslow's, unfortunately.

As for air pressure, I was just going to use my little tiny air compressor stuck in the vent pipe, sealed with my HAND, while someone in the basement filled the container! Now THAT's high tech!! :-D
I've got 500 gallons of fuel oil in my home heating oil tank (which I no longer need the house). I'm having trouble getting it OUT of the tank to use in the truck. (We'll worry about "off-road diesel issues" later.)
I don't have, nor can I afford right now, an electric pump that will pull it...
I'll interested in watching the progress. I've an MEP003 also (but only one) that I would like to mount on a "real" generator trailer. Right now it's sitting in the back of one of my M105s. Maybe I'll just pop the box off one of the 105s or something!
You've got that right!!!
For those of you who don't know, this is my "other" truck! I'm hoping that the shaman of the southwest (and FMJ's tender hands!!) can work magic on it!
I just hope he doesn't break out the tricycle and hand drill again!!! rofl
I got one last time, and was moderately pleased with it.
Did anyone else find that the cover was too big to fit snuggly, or to be able to attach the "bungie cords" to the hooks on the back of the cab so that the cover was actually pulled down tight? I had to rig up some auxilliary cords to...
Dan:
I was up at your place yesterday, mistakenly. I was actually looking for Maddawg's place. I almost got stuck in your field just WALKING around!! I don't envy your drainage problems! But I can sure see how you got stuck in the mud. Your field is obviously catching all the drainage off the...
Mike:
I'm going to place an order for pick up. I need the camo support poles (the complete set with the bag), and a couple of NATO Gerry cans. They'll be paid for, just need to be picked up. Will that work for you?
Tanks!
I just stumbled across this thread.
I'M IN!! I'm just down the street in Stanardsville. Maybe 20-30 minutes drive. WAY COOL!!
I'd like to help scope out the area and get to know you guys, too, if you'd like another body.
I might even have two trucks by then!
I don't think "embossed" is the right term. "Engraved" might be more acurate. I'm talking about the lettering on items like the fueld shutoff and throttle handles on a deuce. Anyone have any good tips on painting those? (And "a tiny brush and a steady hand" doesnt' count!) :)
Perhaps a...
Travis:
I live in Ruckersville, near Stanardsville. I've got an M109A3 Shop Van, an M105A2 trailer, and am working on getting an M35A2 shipped or moved from NM ASAP. I work in C-ville, near NGIC. Drop me a note if you'd like to come up and drool over my truck!
Brad
