I've never found a part for my M-37 that could not be procured, outside of a new hood. As far as brake parts go, every single original piece is available from multiple sources.
The original brakes will do the job. You may have to replace all the parts from end to end now. They are 60 years old...
Just a little over 4 weeks to go. I gotta start getting things ready now, with cleaning and moving stuff around my trailers so I can have room to camp in one. I'm getting excited.
Blackshear is such a nice place to camp, and it will be nice to see some of you guys once again. I hope everyone...
Oh, well if you're getting into the swamps of Louisana you're practically home.
I recall flying into Dallas to pick up a Mercedes of mine there. When I hit Louisiana I found myself going over 120mph when,...
yep, right behind me was a single light catching up fast. I thought, who in the heck...
I do. I'll bring you some. I'm sure we can find something to swap.
I'm getting excited. I can't wait to get this trip to Lockbourne out of the way, where I head up there this Sunday and return with a full load of microwave test equipment on Monday. Oh, and also, about 700 pounds of tin foil...
Sandcobra,
It's still early yet, so why not just move it up one week to the weekend of July 12-13th?
That way, you might be able to make it and we will all be happy.
I can just change my reservations. No problem. Important thing is, we get you there.
For more specific details of what the park has to offer, please see the thread;

It would be nice if a Moderator could co-join these two threads for us somehow. Thanks.
OK guys. Here's the deal. The campsite reservations are NOT site specific. I hope we can make better arrangements and get everyone together in one spot next time around, but for now, we will have to play their game and make our reservations at this absolutely beautiful campground and get there...
Well said my friend. When I first heard of his accident, just days after the occurance, I have been very concerned about these old slow machines rolling down the interstate.
I cannot tell you how saddened I have been to hear of his demise, and we have never met.
The one thing I can say he did...
Less. Definitely less. And I would educate the buyer upon the sale, NOT to pull this one around by the ends. If they do, the UV deteriotes the thread, and it will come apart at the threads. If the straps are that gone, so too, are the threads holding it all together, from the top, to the sides.
Enjoy the vacation and don't worry about this stuff. The contractor should be able to do all that. Just keep the wife and kids happy.
Panama City Beach is like my home away from home. Fantastic place and lots to do. Get outta there and go have some fun.
How could anyone not love Mr. and Mrs. Cleaver? These young folks missed a lot of good old black and whites. Nowdays, we have 100 channels and there's nothing to watch, so we go to SS. Back then, we had two channels and would fight over which channel we would watch.
Andrew is all good. My...
M105 behind a jeep?
Not unless you want to blow your head gasket.
Or get pushed out into the speeding traffic at the stop sign.
The M101 at 1000 pounds lighter might be a load, even unloaded, but at least it has surge brakes.
Best bet? Find a friend in the local area and try pulling the M101...
I think I have some. Can anyone give me the exact measurements of them. I want to be sure they are the right ones.
It seems I have two different types.
There is someone in the Northeast who does regular hauling and gives SS members discounts on the back end. I need to write his name down. Maybe someone else will chime in and provide the name for you, with this post serving as a reminder. Good luck with it. Seems to be $3 on average, but we've...
The laundry unit has a 10KW, MEP-003 on it. It is unlikely he would be able to get it near his pond.
The water pump, like most other assets on the laundry unit, is three phase power. They did do a mod on the water heater and some are single phase power now.
I believe the air compressor is also...
He said he is doing well, but that old fella might be a fibber McGhee. I haven't heard back from him on my very last email.
I hope all is well. I'm going to write him again. and if that doesn't work, drive on over there (2 hours) and check with Efrain.
He did say what was killing him was getting...
