Where did that tree come from?

Wonder if that was the only tree on the ranch. Makes for a good target. I know some guys who try to take them down for sport. That one didn.'t budge. Oops.

Any central OK member with a tow bar?

Good idea not to go sideways either.:)

F-16 Cockpit Video during RED FLAG - ALASKA

The persistant 2 and 3 second shots of video, one after another, hurt the performance of the overall video. You simply could not get a warm feel for the flight in any one location they were filming. I liked the bomb drop and roll best. The scenery was fantastic, but I think the editor screwed up...

Internet Explorer 10 (Enter key not working, other functionaility issues)

Yep, I switched to Google Chome and it is free, just as easy, just as good, and (for other readers) no issues once you port your "favorites" or bookmarks over, and that is an automated process during the Google Chrome installation. Thanks.

headed to tampa area from south west georgia

Tampa? Yeah, you need to carry PCTrans down a load of Cow Manure. (Good for the Tomatoe's in the land of the sand)

    Parts needed for M105 trailer

Yes, I've sold about a dozen of the two wheeled front landing leg for $40 in this area. That might be cheaper then buying the parts, but you have to find one in your area, which is the secret. Try looking for some local swap meets. Might be your best bet. Shipping would be a killer on that heavy...

    M43 Value?

    Good attitude! :)

    M43 Value?

You got a couple thousand just in the parts to make someone else's machine complete. Wheels, hood, bumper, fenders, engine, tranny, lights, etc Lots of people out there that would want the parts to improve their machines, or complete them. It might even be a good selling point if you could find...

    OK, I am back. Barely.

Good to have you back. Hope it all goes well. Go slow...

    found this M37, anyone interested?

Agreed. Doug did a great job of making a new find. I love it when we try to help each other out by letting each other know whats out there. Just between us guys here, that truck is a $2500-3000 truck with all those rust issues (and I might be being generous there). The big selling point is that...

    Questions about the M116 trailer

In my opinion, it is not economically feasible to add surge brakes. This means, it would cost more to repair, install, then what the trailer is worth. It is better to buy what you want then to do the repairs, and usually, cheaper. You have to add the surge brakes, the lines, and replace the...

    Questions about the M116 trailer

Most have surge brakes. They probably removed it when they did the cutting on the pintle. If you haul gravel and such, don't try to use the tilt feature as it is not designed to dump with a load. You might crack the undercarriage or rear lights. Wheels/tires are easy enough to find, depending on...

    M101 series crank landing gear?

There was a fella on here making them. You can't find them with a trailer, unless extremely lucky. I have seen one in my lifetime. So I purchased the one from the SSer making them. About $40-45 or so plus shipping and better then the originals. Otherwise you'll have to get one from one of the...

    found this M37, anyone interested?

That body looks to be in very good condition. I would love to have that hardtop. Not sure what that stuff is in the seams. Glue, gunk, filler, or discolored paint, but either way, it all looks very repairable. And yes, I was also interested in the answer to post #5. LOL

    dash plates

We've worked with dataplates.net in making some all new plates for us. He has been very good and helpful, and continues to make new plates as we send in our old ones. He replicates them very well and is very helpful. If you have an old faded plate that needs replacing, and he has not done it...

Newby from da U.P looking to buy a deuce

Likely the brake master cylinder. Get under it and check for leaks after filling it up. The deuce isn't worth a hoot in tree lined narrow roads. Great for breaking mirrors off and cracking windshields. You may want to think twice about "going deep into the wilderness." Good luck with it. It's...

    Good master cyl. rebuild kit?

Actually, it's already difficult. The government procures thousands of both military and non military assets from China today. The days of only buy in America military parts are gone forever. The Chinese have issues with manufacturing quality in spite of strick military contractual...

Two M37's from NC to CO... NOW!

If I may ask, how on earth did you get so lucky, you found two at once. Those look fantastic! There is a fella North of there that does some trucking and is always looking for a backend haul or will give SS members reduced rates. I cannot remember his name. Maybe he will come up and post about...
