On my 1031 I took the dash cluster from 84 k20 had Oil, Volts, & Temp gauge. some minor rewiring, and moving the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Lights to where the low coolant, and fasten seatbelt lights would normaly be..... Easy upgrade....
I have several of these installed as "Dome" lights in my fleet... White(Bright), and Blue are my colors, The reason for the 3 wires is this light has the capability to switch from White to Blue with out changing the selector I assume this was intended for "Blackout" use...

What all is entailed in a "conversion" to DOT 3?
IE just drain and refill or do you need to run some sort of solvent thru the system?
