A couple of years ago I paid $1600 for a parts Deuce with a bent frame. The days of the cheap Deuces are long gone. You may get lucky and find a cheap one but bets are it is someone else's headache and needs a lot of work. What ever you pay, plan on another $1000 to bring it up to serviceable...

I once bought a Deuce from GL. It had a bent frame. No mention of it in the ad. Hard to drive it home while going in circles. :whistle: I have seen other with a window in the side of the block. But I have driven many off the location.

The pressurized tank is different than the tank listed above. What year of van do you have?

The lockup speed on a diesel torque converter is around 1600 rpm. A gasser TC can range anywhere from 2400-4500 rpm. If you want to blow up your engine then go for it.
