Welcome to the site. Take the trailer off and go uphill, just not too far from home, and see if it's still sluggish. If so, swap the fuel filter first and go from there. I've had the same problem. These trucks aren't beasts at towing.
That sucks. TH400 3 speed automatic , The M1009 has Corporate 10 bolt axles front and rear with 3.08 gear ratio and a Gov-Lok in the rear. The front axle is open. That info came straight from the Wiki at the top of the CUCV page. Not being a turd, but I have yet to see anyone point you to the...
I can confirm it shows up fine on FF 24.0 here as well. BTW, thanks for all the hard work getting the site back up. VM solution should prove to be much less of a pain in the future.
Found this guy listed on the local CL, decided to pick it up. This one isn't near as complete as the one another gentleman here posted, but I wanted it8) The plates are all there, just have to work on removing the paint to determine the year. It is missing the pick axe, axe and holder on the...
Thanks, I hadn't thought about the vent tube but that makes sense. I'll look for the chapstick stuff in town this weekend while Im out and report back if any change.
84 M1009. I am having this issue as well, partly. I see small spots on the tailgate and some reach the back part of the roof. Cant really tell/smell what fluid it is though, and it only seems to happen when I go on longer than normal trips(50+ miles above 60mph, usually when I'm taking it to...
Yep. My wires are in the shop somewhere, I'm sure others have some they would sell you if you post in the classifieds. Not really useful IMO unless you plan on jumping your own mvs or hope to get a jump from an allied force.
So I’m out Sunday when on the way back from the store the truck becomes sluggish and loses power going up the very large hill I live on, then it shuts off. I pop the hood and smell fuel. I find that one of my injectors is leaking fluid, so I tighten it up, open the vent plug on the fuel filter...
So I got home and started playing with it and ended up cutting about 3 more inches off( going back and forth checking)and I'm good. Getting 1.1/1.2 on ch 1 & 40. Before the swr meter wasn't moving at all on 40. Yes it was/is grounded. I was able to transmit out and get radio checks a fair...
I'm digging up an old thread...I have an AB15 with Ms116-118. Is the 108"-110" length measured from the top of the antenna to the bottom of the base where the coax connects or from the top of the antenna to the top ceramic part of the base? I see a post saying 110 from base to tip of antenna...
Thanks for the generic answer....:beer:I looked in the TM and didn't see anything, that doesn't mean there isn't though. Guess Ill find out Saturday or Sunday.
