    My m813 requires I go under the hood and have to reset mine. If I just push the shut off cable back. Mine won't start.

    Your truck could have some bad fuel lines and suckling air and or lost prime. It's a common problem with the Cummins engine if that's what you have.

    Is your emergency shut off value pulled. ? If someone pulled it you have to go under the hood and push the arm forward to rest it or the truck won't start.

    I had to replace the flasher on mine it's under the dash and a bit to the left. Theread ate also relays that could go bad they control both the 12v lights and 24v if I remember right. There under a panel on the right side of the cab with the twist lock screws. Your problem may be there.

    In and out play yes if it's less than .018 up and down no play.

    No it really shouldn't. Did you tighten the pinion bearing nut really tight? And did you notice any broken thrust washers?

    Sounds Like You Have A Bad shutter stat Most Are Set To Open Up At 190 and provide air to the fan clutch.

    Not sure where you are putting the switch. But if it were out in the weather. Most enclosure are nema 14 for being water proof . If inside I'd use a frankinstin switch.

    Look up Gore flex tubing. Or just flex tubing. It's used alot in cnc machines and is perfect for this application!! Where I live I couldn't do the exchange on top like you. To many big low branches on our roads.

    Other than throttle cable and batteries I'm not sure the mpe 003a and mpe 004a have that much as far as parts in common.
