CTIS works great on the M1075. No problems or failures to date. It makes a huge difference in offroad capability.

x2 on the M816. They are really sweet. With that said, there is a M543 in Northern OK along I-35 that is for sale (about $7000) IIRC. A key consideration should be what are you going to do with it. If you just plan on using it around the yard to pick stuff up or on short offroad recoveries...

It takes a lot effort to go for a Sunday drive these days. One M1009 pilot car, two oversize load signs, four red flags, and a ton of prayers.

It definitely takes a wet line. Judging from the pics in the link, I guess they are designed for the newer style M916 (Freightliner).
