If you look at Gp and look at those trucks that have sold in the last two months, I don't know if $4k will get you anything more than a non-runner parts truck. CAT and Allison parts are easily accessible, but at a very steep price. You Mentioned a set of tires for the other truck would put...
I imagine some will surface again; it's just a matter of being patient. Steve6x6x6 has been buying these axles for over a decade, I can't imagine he is going to close up shop because his source is forever depleted. But then again, I could be wrong.
Has Anyone replaced the seal on the transfer case output shaft? Looks like mine is leaking in the front, and likely not going to be addressed until I can find high speed pumpkins and make the switch (I just reinstalled the driveshafts and the leak looks slow).

If anyone finds themselves underneath or otherwise near one of their LMTV's today/tomorrow/this week, do you mind taking the on-center measurement of the front driveshaft between u-joints? I won't be able to get under mine, drop the joint, reclock the slip joint, and reassemble to get a more...
My front driveshaft is sloppy in the slip joint and I am trying to get good measurements for ordering a brand new one from Carolina driveline. When taking the measurement, I noticed that the u-joints aren't in phase like the rear driveshaft (front and rear u-joints on the same side of...
Seems like the only long term options to rectify the driveshaft wear/imbalance causing issues with the transfer case. I called Carolina driveshaft in SC and they said there is no double cardan commercially available for the 1610 series. Nothing double cardan That big. In that case, a rzeppa...
