I've heard that modern ATF is good for cleaning the fuel system, about a quart or 2 for a tank, run it through, then change the filters.
And today when hitting the fuelstation after the eldersburg breakfast I put a full 16oz in and it made quite a difference, still have to top end surging...

Lol, almost sounds like my truck, except my usual top end is 45, and again, and grade bigger than a speed bump and it's down to 30-35..... And I'm turbo'd...... :oops: every now and then I'm lucky though and the truck finds it's nuts and I can cruise 55
My walmart only has marine 2stroke in gallons, but of course the deuce will burn anything, lol. and masking is only for emergencies, I've come close to having to do it for mileage and light wallet reasons once. But I made it back and was able to re-laden the wallet for some pump diesel :D...
With the ULSD they have comming out of the pumps nowadays I was thinking of throwing in some marine 2 stroke to help the deuces injection pump a bit. Was wondering if there was any harm in this, I'd use normal 2 stroke, but it only comes in tiny bottles, marine comes in gallon jugs.

Oops, looks like I'm avoiding 95 then, well, I'll try to get an early start then, lol. What would you say the best route is from elkton without weighstations, 40? my gps gave me a decent amount of back roads to the turn of 2hrs. 95 makes it about 1.5

Fuse was blown, George (gem-something on here, lol) walked me through it. I'm assuming I may have a cruddy screen so then next semi warm day I get I'm going to clean it, for now it's running perfectly fine.
Shame I couldn't get a 2A250V slow pop from an auto store, had to go to Tandy Aerospace...
Thanks warthog, the pump having **** the bed was my first guess then after a phone call I was informed of the possibility of fuses. Either way, as long as it's a quick thing for now I'll be happy, I'm taking a fine toothed comb to it once warmer weather and longer days roll around.

So this morning Murphy decides to drop by my house...... Was running about 45 minutes late, so I run out to the deuce, flip the power, waited about 3 minutes and tried to fire her up, flame heater and all, no dice. So I wait a few seconds and chalk it up to nipply weather, tried a second time...
Sorry guys, stopped by the shop today and Bob let me know he went out and looked this morning and the trucks weren't there, the last time he saw them was last week so he is calling me later to tell me who Helmark sends their trucks for scrap, they may not have hit the chipper yet..... I hope
