    WVO in a Cat 3116

I'm assuming here, because i don't know much about 3116's but I believe those have EUI's in them, and I think the oils will destroy the injectors and their expensive cat parts. Older diesels with mechanical injectors are the way to go for running waste oils. Just my 2cents

    Uses for Deuces

I've pulled out a stuck jeep, and right now im in the process of removing trash from an abandoned house we're renovating for my grandmother to move into. Though right now that's on hold until I replace the steering box this weekend, caught some ice and countered into a guardrail, sheared the...

    Glad hand leak....getting worse

Okay, accidentally had it open thinking it was closed, thanks guys, just have to do the shut off valves when it gets warmer, I'm building a list of things to fix, some leaks here and there, I have a small fuel leak, two coolant leaks that are only around on cold starts and go away when warm, and...

    Glad hand leak....getting worse

Hey now, I enjoy my shift pattern :driver: lol Anyway, I'm pretty sure my valves are off, I'll check again in a few minutes when I actually hop in for a drive. But if I'm not mistaken, it's also leaking at the fitting just after the shutoff valve on the glad-hand side. I sprayed a little rainx...

    Glad hand leak....getting worse

When I picked up my deuce last month it had a small leak at the passenger side glad-hand shutoff, nothing big, just enough that it would bleed down over night. Well the other day I was clearing snow off and I nudged the actual glad-hand cover and it started hissing, so I nudge it back, no...

Got the deuce stuck for the first time, and pulled a jeep out

I'll have the pictures up tomorrow, I'm trying to get my buddy to youtube the video for me. And yeah, there was allot of packed snow under the truck  On a side note, I think the 2stroke oil I've been putting in is taking effect, got up to 55 on 95 after fueling up without realizing and...

Got the deuce stuck for the first time, and pulled a jeep out

So yesterday I was screwing around in the snow at school and backed into an 8 foot snow bank at about 6-8mph. After lunch I decided I could get in further, so I grabbed third gear low and wound it out in 6x6 headed for the pile, blasted in and decided I could go even deeper. So I back out, put...

Long distance " Sweet Spot" M35A2

Okay, so I've heard quite a bit about the lockouts, and pulling an axle shaft. I'm not sure about how the lock outs help??? Do you run with them open or locked in? And I would assume with pulling the axle shaft you would pull the passenger side as that is the powered one, correct?

    M553 10ton GOER Update

Whoops, too many 0's again, lol. And I disnt mean all wreckers, I just messed my numbers and also thought we might have only been talking about the whole production run, not just wreckers.

    Cold weather bio ratio?

Sounds decent to me, will deffinatly cut costs by a good bit. While it's still in the 20's I'll do a test in a gallon jug with a 70/30 diesel/bio mix and one with 60/40 on an over night basis and tweak it from there

    Cold weather bio ratio?

So me and my stepfather are about to start making some home brew bio for his masey ferguson tractor and my deuce, he's got the setup and wants me to do the leg work and he'll 50/50 what he makes with me. I know in the summer 100% bio will be fine, but what about winter? Night temps around here...
