Here is how we tested a 939 series NHC 250 oil cooler. Utilized two 4" schedule 40 plugs, one of which was outfitted with a threaded steel valve stem. To get the plugs to seal, we used a rubber gasket from a shower enclosure floor drain in one end and a seal (which had a handy skirt) from a fuel...
That looks good. Fits right in. I have been thinking of doing something similar to protect the LED's on my truck. I imagine those covers would not affect the headlights' output very much.
The issue here is not pressure capability, but capacity. The hyd system on a cylinder setup (dump) needs enough fluid to fill it. On a winch, the fluid continually circulates thru , does not accumulate, therefore can have a smaller reservoir. A cylinder system will require a much larger...
That is a great looking truck. I have seen alot of ghost flame paint jobs on hot rods and race cars, but that has got to be the first ghost camo paint I have ever seen. Kinda reminds me of tie-dye. Is a re-paint in your plans?
After shutdown, I have air coming out of the valve located next to the upper radiator hose up by the fan shroud. I believe this is the valve DH is eluding to. I may end up replacing that valve.
During my first highway drive to Marengo, (approx 200 miles) I decided that the seat had to be upgraded. I bought 2 HMMWV seats @ the swap meet that day. Only the driver's seat had a base. It is not a springer, but the seat bottom is a suspension seat. I then acquired an air seat base, which I...
Kalen- welcome to the site. I have a 932A1 here in Dayton. There are quite a few members in this gerneral vicinity. We need to come up with a planned meeting. Unfortunately, I don't have the space.
I have only made one venture on the highway thus far. My 932A1 cruised easily @ 60 mph @ 1700 rpm. Was convoying with another MV. Felt very comfortable and there was still more left.
They do have pressure wash racks for the quads, bikes, and trail rigs. don't know if anyone has taken any MV's to the rack. There are signs posted all over D'town forbidding any washing of vehicles in camp areas.
