I cracked a line with intank pump running at the tank and got good fuel just after turning it one turn... so I checked the primary bowl and got good fuel... went to secondaries and drained as well... however the aft most filter seemed like it didnt...

    primary fuel line help

    Is this what you are reffering too? My truck used to be a winch truck. I had a new line made at a Hyd shop. The part that is hard to get is the small inverted flare fittings... Hope this helps.. a new line cost me like $20..

    still leaks... lines wont tighten anymore and I tried loosening then retightening... I am afraid I will snap a line or round the b nut... I have a line on some injectors and a head just need some new lines and I will change them all out... Tracy

    Thanks G-force....It looks like that is a crushable seal like on ignitors at work...may see if it is the same size or just get a new Head..... been wanting to get a better looking one for awhile now.... hehehehe

    well it seems to be leaking from the center of the head at the bolt. lines are all snugg and it looks as if a new head may be in order... then once I have replaced my head maybe I can think....hehehehehe....oh I kill me..... oh well at least here are some pictures. i degreased area and dried off...

    I have been looking at the TM for the IP and have not found a breakdown of the Hydraulic head... Mine is leaking at the area under nuts where the 6 lines attach at the top. I am wondering if I have to replace the whole Hydraulic head or can I just replace some o-rings... I drive this truck...

    heavy water rinse is what we in the aircraft world use...or isopropal alchohol.... like GE said make sure and dry it quickly to insure you dont have rust form...then prime right away...even if you arent gonna paint the part till later get a coat of primer on it to prevent rust.

    she drove fine home and only leaked a little from the IP head while parked after getting home... I will clean it off tomorrow and try andget a picture of what I have so it will be easier to guide me!!
