go easy on the veg.....filter and filter....I only add about 1-5 gal when I get it....just to make truck smell good when running down the road....it has a tendancy to cause problems if you burn it straight for a long period....

Resurrecting thread....I changed my filters in Dec....and just changed my primary only this time and now I am having hesitation issues...just drained filterbowls and found alot of water....some must have slipped in when getting some oil....or from condensation buildup....she must want her...

I marked the balancer and am driving it around putting it through the paces.... will check it before I leave work tonight and again in the morning before I head to work. Probably gonna end up changing it anyway to feel better about it....[thumbzup]

I have had issues with the cutoff handle rod on the IP has gotten bent/corroded..might have similar issue with throttle rod and or spring! just my2cents
Batts on charge... Will check again...also found a spot on hood where the POS of one of the batts was hitting and probably draining the batts and causing all sorts of issues!! Will get some pictures... wires are rigged on this truck so I am trying to put it together and make sure all connectins...
I am working on a truck that has been changed to 12v and has 2 HD batts. The batts have about 10.85 volts. and I get lights and glow plugs and all the other bells and whistles. I went to turn over and nothing.. relays clicked but no starter noise. went to starter and found wire to have power...
Awesome!! Well no traffic in the way going to the airport thats for sure!! Only could have been better with a full convoy of turtle shells packin!!

I have read before where axles have shifted after impact to a front wheel! Make sure it didnt cause side movement of the axle!! SECO here in Augusta overhauls deuces and has new and used parts.... they mainly do overseas orders but I am sure they will quote you a price of a complete go through...
