a simple sulution to this problem is to use this as your shift pattern. second in the trans low in t case then second in hte trans high in the t case then keep the t case in high and go through the rest of the gears this gives you similar ratios without having to use the non syncroed first...

pull the drain plug on the t case just to get a little fluid out so you can check to see if there is alot of metal in the fluid. if so theres a good chance the t case is pooping out on you but i would look at the brakes first since that seems to be way more common
