I agree 110%. I would gladly give up some power and speed for the ability to pour almost any flammible liquid in the tank and get the heck out of dodge.

I'm trying to procure a M1031 through DRMO for the Shaw Railroad. We just got a set of hyrail gear from DRMO (lejeune) and now I need a truck to mount it to. :-D

I bid on a lot of stuff at Lejeune, and won. Wife was mad. I said I 'thought someone would outbid me'. So I have the feeling if I "accidently" won something else, it would "accidently" wind up on fire!! :twisted:

I usually run mine around 50-55, but I was towing a M35 for Gearspec this weekend and down hill I got to 62mph and 2700rpm, but not for extended periods. But I will cruise with the M109 right at 2550 all day, no real issues. Mine is turned up by the gov, so if I punch it it will hit 2700-2800rpm...
