    m811 on gl

:deadhorse: Cool, I have been wanting to use that one! From prior discussions, it is clear some people like to have the info shared, some don't. Unless the mods decide to prohibit and delete such posts, I think they will continue to be a part of the landscape around here.

    Crane Ideas?

I'm wanting to add a crane too and I am value your thoughts. What are the advantages of Mike's versus Clinto's? If it works, I think the idea of the hand winch is handy. Please give me your thoughts on this option: http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_74569_74569

I think the light is actually tied to the speed (50 MPH) but the manual does indicate the governor kicks in at 2100 RPM at full load. The TM also indicates the crusining range at 192,000# GCWR is 345 miles on 150 gallons, or 2.3 MPG. Bonus is the manual says the M911 can be towed with a medium...

    Parade Pics

The answers are 1) not enough and 2) not enough. Max speed is listed in the manual as 45mph and a dash light comes on at 50mph. On the road, I usually keep it between the two and it runs strong and is easy to drive. I haven't checked the mpg, but it can't be much. Maybe 1-2 MPG...

finally got the new rubber on

Re: RE: finally got the new rubber on Are you sure on the rubbing or just guessing? Maybe some members with the 1600s could verify. I'd like to step up to 1600s but have wondered about the rubbing.

    balancing tires with ball bearings?

Where did you come up with 20-22 oz? I have heard of several items used in tires to balance, but never seen anything definitive re: quantity for that big of tire. I used a few golf balls in mine and haven't had any problems, but I run offroad mostly.

M52A2 and M127 with XM10 Water Distributor Module

Re: RE: M52A2 and M127 with XM10 Water Distributor Module Good point. The M127 will definitely handle rough terrain. Look closely at the rear of the trailer in the first pic. I forgot to raise the step into the travel position once and it got bent. Now what kind of drop off would be...
