I'll be there Sunday to help instead of Saturday - I messed up my wrist working on the farm digging rocks yesterday, can't move my wrist around too much. By going Sunday I hope it will have an extra day to get better before I have to use it doing hard labor again.
Coming up in a couple weeks. The Gun Truck Gathering was held there last year. This year I might just be showing up to look around, was wondering if anyone local to that area is bringing their military truck....
Like I've said before, if it's related to this site, and it involves any repair or administration that must be done by mangus, this site will crash and burn without him ever doing anything about it.
But he'll still be glad to cash the checks for all the advertisements that are posted above.
I had a M416 in the early 2000s, I got it in 1998 from DRMO with tires dated in the late 60s. They hauled fine until the day I sold the trailer, no problems.
IMHO - keep those tires on there and use them. Just keep an eye out for tire checking on the sidewalls, and keep a new spare handy in...
Jeep trailers are great, man. I miss having one rolling around (my M416 is still apart until I can get a replacement floor), throw your stuff in the back and roll out. I have used them loaded with over 1 ton of stuff and it handled the load fine.
Be sure to pack out your trash when you...
I see UPS truck drivers all the time with no doors on their step vans. If it's legal for them, it's legal for you. Just wear a seat belt so you don't hit a pothole and fall out of the cab.
Awesome trucks, keep em coming!
Here's one I snapped in Gilbert PA show a few years back, can't remember the owner.
Hey....that one guy looking at the truck sure looks familiar....
Without a pic, I'd have to be conservative and say $1000. M880s are worth $4K in really nice shape, anything less than perfect shape and the value plummets. They burn gas like a flamethrower and rust has ravaged the majority of the ones out there, so condition = value, bad condition = no value.
