wow i love it your wife is getting into working on it to soon you will have to buy her one to:roll:ya i think they all leak at least when you're done with it you will know what you have and it will be new from top to bottom:-Dkeep up the good work
take some sand paper sand the area if it is cracked you will see it without paint on there .dont hit it with a hammer if it is a thin part of the casting you will crack it then you will have a crack.my guess is no leak no crack unless they used block sealer if so its holding and i wouldnt worry...
i have a spare mini handle if you need it not sure what thread the bolt is that holds it on but i'm pretty sure it is availible at the hardware store.read the tms on winching it will explain it to you better how to use your winch safely
the reason its not working is cuz that is the handle to disengage the winch it wont work unless it is locked in-pushed to the pass side. the little handle or knob is the winch brake it holds the load when winch is not pulling
glad it worked for you .now stay out of the ditches :roll:m109s do pretty good since they have more weight than a normal deuce i would look into some xls or zxls they do way better in snow, rain shoot they do better in everything singles help grealy to:-D
i thought the reason for bobbing was to gain accerration and drivabilty why loose the traction of six wheel drive if you are still gonna have to do all this stuff to make it drivable:roll:if you put hydro steering and a gear splitter on a 6x6 there would be no reason to bob.but i would think...
ya i like it:twisted: bobbing is the same as putting bigger tires on .there are a thousand things you need to do to make it right but there is always gonna be a trade off.each one has its place but one truck cant do everything prefectly.
i ran from chicago to southern ohio about 700 miles straight thru pulling a trailer there and back running 2600 on the gov the hole time they are governed at 2600 which is the safe rpm for them thats why they set the gov to that they will run on the gov all day everyday
ya if i have to deal with clearence problems with the air pack i wil probably angle mount the spare carrier slightly so the tire will clear the airpack that way im only loosing ground clearence in the center not under the whole tire
