Hmm. Could be. I'll see about getting a new one tomorrow. I figured it was a partly open system like on the ferrets. But in retrospect I seem to recall that the manual said it was a pressurized system.
I was contemplating installing a catch tank for excess coolant on my Deuce. I'm a little tired of it spitting coolant on the ground every time I stop as part of the open system.
It's called a protective control box. It controls the starter based on the oil pressure (it uses the oil pressure idiot light sensor). This prevents the starter from being engaged while the engine is running. The electronic TM TM 9-2320-260-20 has the wiring diagram that shows the wiring...
So what antifreeze does have a specification for diesel engines. I've just been to a NAPA and to an O'Reillys and neither had antifreeze that was clearly for a diesel engine.
Bjorn, where'd you get your test strips? Fleet Pride?
What happened to the safety chains and did the breakaway system not engage?
I have to wonder about some of those construction trailers out there that never pass through a weigh station. Many could be running around without functional brake systems and will never be checked by a DOT type.
The extra length on the bumper and winch really make the deuce look more "boss" as a truck. They're quite impressive without a winch, add one and they just gain something more.
Depends on where. Down here in Ga noone bothers me in my armored car with a dummied up looking MG barrel in the turret. Several other folks down here drive their jeeps around with M1919s and M60 dummies mounted. Worst they get is an inquiring from the cops and then are sent on their way...
In a 2 batteries in series situation, each battery has a certain resistance. As they drain, that resistance goes up, which means they need more voltage to charge and take more amps to charge. If one of the two batteries in series is drained more than the other (if you tap one of the 12 volt...
Ok, I'll offer my truck, tools, time and such for anyone in the North Ga Contingent to go get these. Additionally, I'm fairly sure we can get storage space on the backlot of the Railroad Museum in Duluth. The Director I've spoken to supports that.
Mark? Clinto? BFR? Everyone Else? Comeon...
RE: 12v Deep Cycle Battery Set-up for Camper on 24v
Batteries change resistance as they charge. So you've got a problem with two different sized batteries connected in Parallel to each other. The Deep Cycles will charge at a different rate and their resistance will drop off as they charge...
Re: RE: Lights
Very likely they were made with the same factory/bid after someone had the bright idea to adapt those rather than some expensive military unit that ran off of 400 htz 416 VAC.
Properly working breaks. Does that mean frame's can be cracked or have to be fully broken first?
Wouldn't the 4 wheel drive requirement be a minimum that was worded badly? ie no 2 Wheel Drive vehicles. And NDCCs aren't paddle tires.
