    Oops, tank fell over!

I climbed over Tom Thompson's when I went to buy my Dingo. He had the deck plates up for servicing the drive-line and I was amazed at the complexity. 8 outputs from the transfer case just seemed like a pain if anything ever failed. Nice that you've got the model with the Atlas crane. I saw the...

    What are these things?

It looks like some kind of lighting system? Perhaps for runways or landing areas for helicopters?

    bad running engine

I believe that if it's loosing pressure, then the injector heads aren't going to fire the way they're supposed to.

    Panhard bar

What exactly is a Panhard bar. The only panhard I know of are the French Made Armored Cars (perhaps they came up with the idea?). I guess it's some kind of side to side link for controlling suspension chatter? For this application, why not airbags between the axles and the frame? You could...

Ga Deuce owners, soldier B swap?

Ok, so I'm lacking a soldier B for valve adjustment tasks. The GF is not the type that'll get under the truck, lay in the dirt and turn a prybar to turn the transmission output shaft while I adjust valves. Anyone want to do their valves? You come help me adjust my valve lash, I'll come help...

    Diablo Build Update (pics)

RE: Re: rules of thumb... I've been able to find 28 volt bulbs for just about every application I need at newark.com. They have a VERY good selection tool for finding bulbs and devices you need. They can be pricey, but are quite reasonable on bulbs.

    More Snatch blocks!

Judging from the pallette, I'd say they're 1/2" rope/6" Sheaves. The extra size on the anchor point is because a double sheave will have double the weight on the attachment point over what a single sheave block would have. Your individual line pulls are added on that attachment point, so you...

    Pyrometers, options, mounts...

Ok, I'm getting close to wanting to install a pyrometer in my deuce so I can turn the fuel up a touch and keep an eye on that. I'm wondering if a Boost gauge would be good to do as well *shrug*. Anyhow, I looked at Hewitt Industries and a few other locations, but I can't decide on a good setup...

    Heating the WVO/biodiesel

The Fuel heater on Bjorn's truck is water from the radiator. He just has a solenoid that'll close and open flow to the fuel tank to heat it.

Working on the 810/ 251 track pics

The way they deployed the airborne for the night time part of the tactical was great. Load a stick in a U-haul truck. Trundle down the road at speed, in the dark, have them stand up, open the door and then kick them out the door one by one as the truck trundles down the road at 5-8 mph and then...

Working on the 810/ 251 track pics

Turnout ended up being light because of a snow storm. We still had about a thousand there. There were three full companies of US airborne.
