    Electrical - SAFETY!

I have some 48 volt power systems at work. 4 100 amp hour batteries in series and power supplies to boot. The whole system has 2 pairs of 50 amp power supples. Its all telco DC power gear. Very neat. Part of my demonstration to coworkers about how it works is to show that you can touch hot...

M621-M624 Norwegian deuces with air-locking diffs

I think greensix was done by Jim Webster of Ferret Heaven and the Mike list on JED. Jim's been backing away from the heavy web presence becaues he's just ended up with too many headaches from it all.

Me and my Deuce FISH for residents in Trenton, NJ

Bravo for rescuing your Governor. Did he say anything about a civilian with a privately owned "army truck"?

    Hydraulic Pump...

So, on the list of things to do to the deuce, I'm thinking a hydraulic pump attached to my rear facing output for the double PTO. What kind of pump do I need to eventually get a dump rig installed?

First day to drive the Deuce to work

I'm known at work by more than a few people as the "guy with the tank". Then they find out I have a deuce as well. Usually I'm asked where I park all my toys, usually I respond, "any where I want to." :)

Heavy equipment trailer for my 5 ton

In my several years of looking at how to move my Dingo around, I never came across one of those trailers. They're rare. Really rare. That's why I went with a civilian one. A tag trailer in military form is going to be high too, so factor that into your plans.

Heavy equipment trailer for my 5 ton

In the civilian world, you're talking about a ~10 ton tag trailer. Not hard to find. There are some military 5 ton trailers and I think a 7 ton trailer that are basically equipment trailers with out a beaver tail. I don't think there's a 10 ton. I'd get a civilian 10 Ton trailer and modify the...

Put your shades on for this one!

It's paint for pete's sake. The owner could have butchered the truck more or even destroyed it. The truck is relatively original, has all the original kit, but has some new parts added to make it more useful and a high vis paint job to make it obvious. The tires are more optimal for road use...

    5 ton vs 10 ton

I found in my 5 ton that I tended to look down on most commercial trucks. That was one of the high points of glee with that truck.... :) Then I'd nearly run over some poor housewife at a tight corner....
