So this is stock? Reason I ask is I just bought a 1031 and from what I've read that 1028 is pretty much the same.

Ya, that time of year shouldn't be a problem. I know some sytec oils have a lot higher heat boiling point if the T case can handle that type of oil. I'm sure there must be a reason not to use it, someone here would of done it already.

What kind of temp are we talking about on the T case? Seems that some type of cooler could be fabricated to help keep the temp down. Camp

I've only called there once and asked about a 5ton dump, don't know who I talked to, but sounds like the same guy. All I wanted to know is there anyone one there to help load or do I need to hire someone to come in and help. His comment was "can't you read the description"? Thought maybe he...

My first experience with a GL guy was the one out at Ft. Drum, Andrew was night and day compared to that guy out there. Glad he's there. :-D

I think the issue is are you for hire? and if your not end that should be the end of it. Now if they want to check your fuel for off road they can do that on any vehicial that runs on the road, even my little VW TDI.

I see it made it onto the GL facebook page a few days back.
