    Towing a M105 with a CUCV

one thing to note, they are now making electric brake controllers that can operate hydraulic brakes, the pumps are still expensive though (several hundred bucks) but its a all-in-one unit that replaces the master cylinder on the trailer and gets power from the vehicle. Another cool feature is...

i have pulled a M200a1 all the way back from aberdeen with my m1008, running a 6" lift and 38.5" tires the pintle lines up. I had no problems pulling it, but allowed for a large distance to stop. 1009 slave jumping

of course you want to have the m35 running before trying to start the cucv, and leaving the cables attached for a long time wont be good for the batteries.

    cucv antennas

you can search on google or the like i forget the model of the antenna and base, but you can modify it to be a semi-decent antenna, still its not what it was designed for. Best to mount the mil-spec one and then get a firestick for the CB.

    M1008 as a DD?

I've been DD'ing mine for a few years now. I"ve added larger tires to help with the gearing, last year I put a turbo on the truck for more power. It gets me anywhere i need to go, whenever i need to get there.

Picture of M1009 fuse panel ?

more specifically you can get the -20 (maint. manual) from the troubleshooting link at the top of the cucv forum, download them all and enjoy your manuals, they are like the GM shop manuals for a civilian vehicle.
