    Sheriff's deuce

RE: Sheriff Kenny: Get him to join the Steel Soldiers and he will be dragging them up to visit Clinto in no time. I would think that as long as the Sheriffs department met the EUC guidelines they could sell them as long as funds are used according to auditing GAP.

DMA251 Great to see your post how is the HEMMT coming along as well as your yard mods and big garage? I would love to see them. I am under a server nazi here and can not access youtube and a lot of photo hosting sites so if you can post them here. I like the look of the big tires if you are...

My first and new Kaiser m715

Welcome to the site. That is a great looking truck and the Jeep tailgate adds to the legacy of being one of the early Army attempts to buy specially prepared civilian trucks. I know Kenny will be glad to see you have joined as the Florida members are growing. Did you buy it from a dealer or a...

    deuces in use........

RE: I Please post them I love construction projects like that and trucks and this meets both criteria. Beautiful location and very nice cabin will keep you secure for sure. I would worry more about vandals than snow sleet wind or fire.

Hoist mounted and at work..sort of.

Mine is mounted to the bed with reinforcing channels underneath. Picking up the 1,000+ pound load did bend the bed a little and I am going to add additional bracing on the mount when I get home but lifting even my 500 pound generator was easy just lift and swing inboard. Mine is the small fry...

Hoist mounted and at work..sort of.

I am getting older every year and at 53 the lifting gets a lot harder. I debated the larger one like you had but when I saw the one I got for under $50 I kind of took it as a challenge and wanted to keep the troop seats working for use at church and youth events. I really love this site...

    bad stuck and big trucks

Any picts of that big guy in the same mud hole? I think these events see all the little guys doing all the mudding and the big guys getting all the looks. I might have put rice paddy tires on it and sailed over the mud.

Hoist mounted and at work..sort of.

I really like having my little crane on back. Yours looks very capable and if you look at the pictures in this link: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&p=85469&highlight=#85469 you will see I was bending my bed picking up over 1,000 with mine. It makes...

Did a little hauling EGT Results

RE: Re: RE: Did a little hauling EGT Results Great looking rig. Would it be possible to build a ramp up to the area above the fifth wheel for the beetle to fit? I know my M52 worked a lot harder pulling the M127 home than it did bobtailing and it seemed to me the highway speeds were the...

    picture of Deuce

RE: picture of duece Drop Side Dueces are the bomb. You have a truck you will love, something about a truck that is older than any of my children and even was made before I got married or graduated from College is a thing that grows on you. Take some good time to spend seaching this site...

    WWII Quad .50 trailer pics

I would sure bid on one if it ever comes up on GL....lol I bet that made quite a few of the enemy look like swiss cheese. My dad's air sea rescue boat shot down a few Jap planes with just dual 50 cals. Thanks for posting the pictures and I hope they get the rust fixed up sounds like a good...

    Deuce Modifications For Better Streetability

I look at a bobbed duece as a Wrangler on steroids. They are cool and if I had a few more acres and more money, I would bob one just to have the fun of driving it at Rauch Creek with all the Jeeps. I plan on putting Overson hubs up front on my duece when I get home from Korea and the more I...

Battery concensus, what battery is the best??

RE: 31 I got 1000 CCA batteries at the PX garage for $63.00 each and they are guarenteed for 10 years with a free jump start. I am waiting to see if I ever need to call that one in on my duece or M52. They start the trucks up with ease and run radios and the invertor very well.

    Soon to be departing M819

Boy I would hang on to that one if I find one I will upgrade from my M52. Good looking truck if it was me I would need to use it within a week of selling it.

Wisconsin allegedly cancelling Military vehicle titles.

Don't forget Wisconsin is where the democrats incapacitated conservative get out the vote vehicles in Milwaulkee. I never flinch anymore at liberal stupidness. I am reading Anne Coulte's Godless the religion of the American left and having resided in Maryland for 10 years now the liberal...

Well my $400 M35 turns out not to be such.....

Wow that is a good way to spend $400.00 like Kenny said I would have bought it too for that price. Look for Multifuel engines on GL or see if someone here has one but sounds like a lot of fun work to do.

    Interested in offroading in Virginia?

I just emailed my son Noah perhaps he will come down with the M1009 and a few of his cadet friends. I would love to come but the 7,000 mile trip would take too long in a Korean duece.
