advanced redneck engineering II finished installing it today... All I did was grind off the heads of some interefering rivets (I will replace them with bolts later), and move the bed about 2" forward from where I left it yesterday. I also installed the under bed toolbox.

this looks even better if 1st gear on the 3052 is lower (numerically higher) than 1st on the 3053... anyone know how they compare?

I actually like it, as these trucks (specifically their brakes and suspension) were designed with 45-50mph in mind.

Is the inner portion af a deuce wheel tapered? If you could cleanly remove the center of a deuce wheel would whats left be the same circumference/diameter on both the inner and outer edges?

those A3 wheels are next to impossible to find. it will pretty much take big $$$ no matter what you do to get wheels that fit those tires and 2.5 ton axles

more...includes the front driveshaft, u-joint came apart, fubarred the yoke on the pinion that is motor oil based sludge not gear oil

btw it fired right up... wil get side shots
