We will see. I've got my eye on a couple that is at $60 right now. I do expect the winning bid to be over $150 though.
I have seen several lots not get a bid at $150. I would imagine they could get some bids on these lots if they started at $50. I'd also be willing to bet that the said lots...
I had a winch that was doing something similar. Mine turned out to be a twisted shift shaft I think. You couldn't tell it was twisted but the key ways where defiantly clocked different that another shaft. My solution was to weld up the detent holes in the plate and drill new ones.
Here's the...
Anything over 1-ton is insured on a commercial policy with TN Farm Bureau. So every one of my MVs is on a commercial policy (M35, M932,M715). It really isn't that much more for liability only. With TFB a commercial policy is just a different way they write the policy and not necessarily more...
I'm unfamiliar with the exact motor in question but most can be serviced/rebuilt. They are pretty straight forward taking apart, just make sure to keep track of where everything goes.
Odds are if you can get the info off the data plate you can find the rebuild parts at a hyd parts supplier.
Will, The engine is slow to return to idle. I've got a service manual (Chiltons not Cummins) that gave a procedure to set the stop screw running. Before I adjusted it, it would fall to idle fast and the screw wasn't even contacting the throttle shaft (I had to turn it quite a bit before the...
My truck starts and runs great. The only problem is when you let off the accelerator pedal fast the truck will sometimes stall or at least the rpms will fall to around 400 or so until it recovers.
My M932 has gotten to where when you rev it up to 1500-2000rpm and let off the throttle quickly it will sometimes die. I've changed the fuel filter, checked for fuel leaks, checked the fuel shutoff, checked the emergency stop, and cleaned the screen in the pump.
I'd did do a little reading up...
Wow, $600 for a frame. I've scrapped no telling how many frames in the last few years. I've got a deuce frame on the way to the scrap yard as soon as I pull a few more parts off it.
Even if somebody gave me a frame, I'd be inclined to just get another truck before I went to the trouble of...
Well you can also rebuild the Cummins one hole at a time. The only difference is when you pull the head you'll uncover two cylinders instead of just one on the Deutz.
The Deutz engines do provide cab heat. They use engine oil that runs to the heater core instead of water. German stuff is top...
Honestly, I haven't tried to lock the brakes loaded. I think it might if you stay under the 5-ton max payload rating. You can overload a deuce fast if you start hauling stuff like gravel and such in the bed.
