have you tried state farm? we have lots of large (non military) trucks with them and its not very pricey (on a commercial policy, but branded presonal use)
i had this problem and figured out that there was a loose clamp on the fuel line from the fuel pump to the filter, it was letting all the fuel in the line drain back into the tank as it set over a couple of hours.. i tightned the clamp and the problem went away
This is one of those "make me a offer" deals.... I hate those.. Mostly because I have no clue what it's really worth.. I came up with close to $1000 scrap value. That sound about right?
I was kinda hoping to turn it into a camper to pull behind my deuce.. The guy wants scrap price for it.. But we weren't sure what it weighed.. So that helps. Now to find the funds to bring it home.. 8-)
i found a trailer in a field, and when i asked the owner about it, he said he thought it was a surgery trailer.. but the only thing i can find that looks like it is a "Nike Missile Launch Control Station" (waaaay cool! lol) he told me to make him a offer on it, and it could be mine... anybody...
On my turbo build I had to install 6.5 injectors to keep them from hitting the manifold(the injectors for the 6.5 are shorter then the 6.2's) I also used the 6.2 IP pump, if tuned the are able to put out more fuel then a db2.. (they HAVE to be TUNED for that to happen though) I run 10-12psi on...
Thanks for the help guys, it looks like all I need to do is install new O-rings.. I tried lookin in the TM's but the only Internet I have right now is on my phone, and it doesn't like to load on my phone... Lol. Thanks again
I am leaking fuel onto the turbo, and it's coming out of the end of a part that screws into the charge tube that goes from the turbo to the intake, It has 2 plastic fuel lines screwed into it as well... What is this part? What does it do? Thanks for your help- josh
and check you IP bolts that mount it, i just fixed one in a civvy truck where the nuts were missing off the studs and the IP was shifting out of time...
do you run it on wvo or wmo? i ran mine on filtered used motor oil/atf and had the same problem... i replaced the fuel filter with a WIX filter(a better filter then some cheap knock off) and ran a tank of clean diesel through it, and it cleared up some, but not much, so on tank #2(diesel as...
thanks for the info... the reason i was looking into them, is because i happened across some 24 volt 450 watt aircraft landing lights that fit perfect in a spotlight for a crown vic, but the mount won't work on the 1009... just wondered if anyone had mounted one up, and was hoping for some...
has anyone mounted one of these post mount spotlights? i was looking at the A pillar(on the m1009) and was wondering if the pillar was thick enough....
oh and 1 other thing.. if you can have a shop break down your 9.00x20's for you, it will be much easier for you, after it took me 30min to brake down my first one, i took the rest to a shop, and for $10 a tire, the did it for me :grd:
